A new dance floor for the Festival’s 25th anniversary

You are among the Festival’s most loyal fans. You trust our promise to bring you the best in Celtic and French Canadian music and dance and probably agree with one of the Festival’s most enthusiastic patrons who remarked years ago that a day at the festival is “like a day in Brigadoon” – a fleeting, magical day that is a gift for all who are lucky enough to be there.

On this Giving Tuesday, recognized across the nation, we are asking you to consider a gift to defray the costs of the New World Festival’s terrific new dance floor, unveiled at this year’s event.  One avid fan wrote, “Wonderful festival yesterday! Fantastic music/dancing performances and workshops. The dance floor was great this year; it was just begging to be danced on! Thank you!!!”

This was an investment in the Festival’s future. The labor for this long overdue improvement was donated by music director Kevin Dunwoody and Chandler’s technical director Seth Stoddard. Materials costs came to approximately $2500.

As we continue with exciting plans for the Festival’s 25th anniversary celebration, our priority is to present a stellar roster of fine musicians and dancers. Your gift to help cover the costs of the new dance floor will allow us to channel sponsorship funds into artist fees.

Gifts via credit card can be made securely using the button below. If you would like to donate via check or to donate anonymously, please go through the donation process on the Chandler website and send your check to Chandler, 71-73 Main Street, Randolph VT 05060.

Thank you for your consideration of this request. We look forward to seeing you on September 3, 2017.
